If you are new around here, we have a couple different live events right now, Critique Arena and Jump Into The Studio.
Critique Arena
Critique Arena is where we critique selected entries and vote for the winners of our monthly art contest. We start with 16 entries and do rounds of voting until we end up with the top 2. It’s a lot of fun! And you can learn so much from hearing pro illustrators critique the work, even if you are not a contestant. Here’s the last two events:

Design a book cover for The Wizard of Oz.
June Contest
Illustrate a short story about a monkey and a croc.
Our next Critique Arena is scheduled for Thursday, Sept 10. We’ll be judging the Dragonfly contest!
Jump Into The Studio
Jump Into The Studio is a live event we started to help everyone get through the coronavirus lockdown. Most Thursdays, we hang out with a different illustrator for an hour or so, and learn whatever it is they want to teach us. It’s fun mix of artist demos, Q&As and class critiques. Chock full of good info! Here’s the latest:
