Failure. It happens a lot in the everyday life of an artist!
So we are devoting the latest episode of our podcast to the topic. We talk about what it means to fail, how do you move on from it, how do you face your fear of it? And we’ll share all the details about our most epic fails 😭😭😭
We’ll also share the lessons we learned 🤓 Here’s some tips for successfully failing as an illustrator:
Find what you’re good at, because you can’t be good at everything.
Instead of viewing your work as a failure, try to think of it an ongoing experiment.
Accept responsibility for your failures.
Use failure to motivate you.
Try to get honest opinions instead of surrounding yourself with “Yes Men.”
Live within your means, in case you do fail.
Look at every failure as an opportunity to learn.
