After all the hustle and bustle of Inktober, we are off to a sloooow start for Slowvember 😂
What is Slowvember? It’s an art challenge created by Lee White, one of the founders of SVSLearn. The idea is to slow down and focus on making one beautiful thing during the month of November 🌺
While Inktober is about making a new image daily and developing good drawing habits, Slowvember is about quality and getting something you really like. Maybe it's a new portfolio piece. Maybe it's a painting you have been thinking about for a long time. Maybe it's time to stretch your skills with a new kind of paint. Whatever the case, we want you to take your time and make something that you really care about.
Can you work on other art during Slowvember? Yes, go for it! We know you got other stuff going on 😉 The challenge is not about working on only one thing, it’s more about really taking the time to explore and experiment with an illustration before taking it to a finish. All too often we rush into drawing without really thinking through the concept and playing with the possibilities.
