We love mermaids around here, and since it’s MerMay, we thought it might be fun to do a little contest 😀 Post your best Merthing and at the end of the month, we'll select a winner. There will be prizes!
What is MerMay?
It's a fun art challenge started by pro animator Tom Bancroft. The goal is to draw a mermaid every day in the month of May. There is even an official drawing prompt if you need a little help coming up with 31 different mermaids. Check out Tom's Instagram for inspiration!
Contest Rules:
It can be a maid, or a man, or whatever floats your boat really. It just has to be Mer.
Post your best MerThing in the SVS Forum (if you don't already have a user account for the forum, you will need to create one). Look for the thread titled NEW MONTHLY CONTEST!! MERMAIDS! (MERMEN!)
One entry per person
File size no more than 1200 pixels on the longest side
Only submit if you are OK with us splashing your image across our social media (you will get credit of course!)
Post by May 31st
Prizes:
