Everybody loves designing characters, but what about the spaces where those characters eat, sleep, work and play?

Illustrating interior environments can be a HUGE challenge because there are so many elements that need to work for the illustration to look right.

The whole vibe can feel off when any of the common pitfalls come into play, such as a boring point of view, overly empty spaces, awkwardly placed objects, and inconsistent timeframe or architecture.

But there's hope!

In this course by teacher and professional illustrator, Will Terry, you'll learn how to illustrate interior environments from interesting and unexpected angles. You'll learn to rotate rooms, creating various POVs from which to choose the perfect angle for your illustration.

Will's class is part of our Foundations Curriculum, which is designed to help artists of all skill levels build a stronger foundation in illustration and master the essential skills needed to be a working artist.

In this class you will learn:
How to create interesting point-of-view angles
How to design spaces to scale
How to add props to your illustration
How to add overlapping foreground objects
How to add period and location details
