There’s no place like…the top 16!
The prompt for the July art contest was to illustrate a book cover for The Wonderful Wizard of Oz. The challenge was to come up with a fresh take on something that is so well known!
And can we just say? This might be one of our best contests yet! We got so much good stuff, it was really hard to pick just 16😵😓😭
The winners were picked during Critique Arena, our monthly live event for members. Our judges seeded the top 16 against each other, and the audience voted for their faves. Sixteen battled it out in the arena, but only 2 made the final cut!
You can get all the nitty gritty in the recording of the event, which will be released soon. But in the meantime here are the two winning entries:
