Winners of the March art contest

Sometimes fairy tales do come true! We couldn’t imagine anything more magical than the Top 16 from our March art contest ✨👑✨

The prompt for March was to design a Fairy-Tale Traveler. The challenge was to create a character design sheet with the character in five different poses.

We got a bumper crop of 100+ entries this time, a big thank you to all who submitted!

The winners were picked during Critique Arena, our monthly live event for members. Our judges seeded the top 16 against each other, and the audience voted for their faves. Sixteen battled it out in the arena, but only 2 made the final cut!

You can experience all the drama in the recording of the event, which you can watch now on our Youtube channel! But in the meantime here are the two winning entries:

Winner! By Liz Orton.

Winner! By Carlianne Tipsey.

This is the first time on the podium for Liz, and the second time for Carlianne! There was some heavy competition this time with more than 100 entries, and with some of our seasoned challengers submitting multiple entries. Liz and Carlianne definitely brought their A game!💯

And here are the rest of the entries that made the Sweet 16 (hi to all the noobs and welcome back returning challengers!):

Congrats y’all! You really outdid yourselves this time👏👏👏

Be sure to enter our April art contest for a chance to win a live art critique and all the glory 💪

The prompt for April is to design an inn or tavern for our Fairy Tale Traveler. For this challenge, we want JUST the building design, no background! Building should be on white, and at a 3/4 angle.

Entries are due Apr 30!

See you again in the arena…the Critique Arena!
